Sandy is definitely one of the loveliest girls
that our Danni has produced. She is very beautifully put
together and has lovely movement. Her crowning glory is her almost
black eyes.
Unfortunately, as a youngster she was not fond
of the show scene, so I never pushed her. While she acts
very protective at home, she is an angel now when she is out and
about. However, I doubt that I will be
showing her now as I don’t want to have to send her away. In
the meantime, she is my biggest bed hog
and I’m still hoping to breed her before she gets much older.
We were very disappointed when her litter
that we were expecting in March of 2010 did not materialize.

Sire - Sel Am/Sel Can Ch. Altana's Outlaw, OFA H & E
We are thrilled with what this breeding
has produced. These are spectacular kids with
personality and attitude to die for. Five are in show homes
and if the other three continue to look and move
as well as they do right now ---- they should follow their
littermates. What more can a breeder ask.
The ultimate litter.

One of his wins was a very nice Best of Winners at the Saskatoon Working

The first weekend of February/08 Rosco went to
Calgary and finished his Championship, going BOW/BOB/GROUP FOURTH the

September 2, 2011 – no small feat in a year that has seen some top
winning dogs in the Herding Group. Many thanks to
Ross’ best buddy, Larry Clark who has handled him to all these wins.
Congratulations Marianne, Ross and Larry.

“ Rosco” ---- BIS CH. CRYSTARIDGE SUNDANCE SHALAKAUS
is now NO. 1 GSD IN CANADA FOR 2011

While Ross had several BOB wins and Group Placements between September

The two that really stand out for me are his Group First win under long time
Breeder/Judge Harold
Hutchison on Sept. 24/2011 ---- (sure wish he had been doing BIS)!!!!!!
The other very special win was Oct. 23/2011 when Jean Fournier awarded him
Group First and then
RESERVE BEST IN SHOW (pictured above). Thank you so much for your
wonderful comments about
our boy.
We are so very proud of you Ross ---- you did so well in the
short time that you were out this past year.
Thank you so much to Marianne who never stopped believing that he could do it
and also huge thanks
to Ross’s handler and best buddy, Larry Clark who loved Ross as much
as he did Ross’s mom, Danni.
What a thrill for all of us to have both mother and son go No. 1. Many
thanks also to the other member
of our ‘dog family’ – Chris Burke (Snowycreek Shepherds) who
stressed and cheered along with the rest
of us every weekend that Ross was out.
I must also thank all the judges from May 31 to December 9, 2011 who
contributed to Ross’s show year.

CRYSTARIDGE’S DESPERADO – ‘TONY’
OFA Certified Hips and Elbows
Sire - Multi BIS Ch. Altana’s Outlaw,
No. 1 Shepherd in Canada for 2005
Dam – Multi BIS Ch. Crystaridge’s Beautiful Dream, No. 1 Shepherd in
Canada for 2003
DOB – November 26, 2006
Tony has never disappointed me or made me wonder why
I ‘picked’ him out of a very quality filled litter.
His structure, movement and temperament are amazing. For a big boy, he
has the most beautiful suspended
gait.
He is the epitome of
the ‘gentle giant’, winning the hearts of everyone that meets him.
Like his older brothers
and sisters and his littermates, I feel he could finish quickly if I
could just make myself send him off to be shown.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to his producing ability.
