"Mitzi" was born on June 12, 1987, the only female in a litter of four. I knew very early that she was special, so on September 1, 1987, I put a huge pink bow on her collar and presented her to Bob for his birthday. He complained that he still had to finish her mother (who was "his girl"), but when "Cassie" finished her championship a week later at the Vancouver Island Specialty, he started on Mitzi's show and obedience career. She finished in grand style under Michelle Billings, going Best of Breed over Specials from a large Open class. She had already achieved her CD in a weekend on her first Birthday.

Mitzi didn't produce quantity, but she certainly produced quality. Her first litter out of "Mike" - Ch. Crystaridge's Masterpiece CD ROMC OFA H/E, gave her three champions. The star of this litter being Ch. Crystaridge's Xanadu who achieved her ROMC from just one litter out of Sel. Ch. Mirheim's McGyver. A year later out of Ch. Brew v Bullinger, SchH III, she produced three puppies, Ch. Crystaridge's Achates Arrow CD, Ch. Crystaridge's Ariel CD and Arriva CD, ALL OFA H/E. 

Her next litter, again three puppies, gave us Ch. Flight of Fancy CD and Ch. Fantasia ROMC. The following year she was bred again to "Mike" and out of five pups produced Ch. Lexus, Ch. LeBaron and Ch. Legacy, all OFA H/E. Her last litter was out of Ch. Crystaridge's Conquistador, again three pups - Ch. Royal Lancer CD TT, Ch. Run for the Roses and Ch. Rhapsody, all OFA H/E.
